R@NDM? Newsletter
by Ben McKenzie
Welcome to the Third edition of the R@NDM? Newsletter, only 2 weeks til the end of term. The last two weeks have seen us look at consumerism, advertisements are everywhere and we learnt to be aware of the messages advertisers are using.
Last week we looked at encouragement and how important it is in a team. We should all know something about encouragement as we support our little All Whites take on the world! Even those that don't watch the sport are excited. I am also excited about the term holidays we have an unofficial LAN party in the first week at the hub, Inspire worship conference in the second week and many of you are taking to the slopes. I hope that there is some good powder for you snowboarders and skiers.
Congratulations is in order...

Chris Jones has been a valuable member of the current R@NDM? team for the past few years (although she has been a valuable member of the team since before most of us were born) and I would like to take this opportunity to congradulate with some sadness her step into a job which means she will not be here on Friday nights! But before you all get too depressed you will be pleased to know that Chris will continue to support and be part of the team in the background with planning. We will miss her being around on Friday nights and she is awesome and next time you see her, tell her how awesome she is.

R@NDM? Newsletter

Welcome to the second edition of the R@NDM? Newsletter, it is insane, but there are only four weeks left of the term. Which more importantly means there are only four weeks left till the holidays (yusss!). We have just had a pretty full weekend of water and R@NDM? has been cranking out some massively fun evenings to match the scale of the downpour.
Just a notice about the Mid-Winter Christmas party, it is being postponed until next term. So keep your ears to the ground about that one.
Last Two Weeks
by Ben McKenzie
As I have already hinted at, the last two weeks have been massive. Firstly we had Out of Control E.D. an awesome night all based around the cause and effects of cars that have gone out of control.
Last week we had an "interesting" night. Some called it "disturbing". I went home and had a shower straight after, but what I saw can never be removed! We had a wearable arts night, the theme was Sci/Fi, Western.
Becky came and judged and voted Corbin's outfit best male artwork and Teana's outfit best female artwork. Good Work to the teams that put them together! - to rest... no comment.

40 Hour Famine Sleep Over
by Ben McKenzie
It was an awesome night and a big thank you goes out to all our friends from the other youth groups who made the combined sleep over what it was! We had over 50 people come for activities between 5pm and 9pm and then around 40 stayed for an epic sleep over. There was some sleep, some movies and a whole lot of catching up and meeting new friends. Big thank you to Bryce, Matt H, Jose and Sam Mac for getting in and cleaning those toilets with positive serving willingness. You guys know your awesome. Lost property, we are looking for the lense cap for the data projector, the bag and plug for the earth ball and a pair of black shoes. Found, a pair of socks and some undies.
